Women in Construction: Everree Springer
Everree has used her 23-year career in construction to prove time and time again that women can not only work in construction, they can lead in construction.
One of the moments she felt empowered the most was when she was underestimated by the iron workers in the beginning of a project, and then was requested to stay with them until the job was finished due to the complexity and safety work practices she brought to the table.
And when it comes to this year's WIC Week theme of Together We Rise, Everree's personal mantra of "united we stand, divided we fall" captures her passion for being part of Local #18 and the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï team. Read the full story from I Build America - Ohio (IBAO) below!
